WELCOME FROM THE CONFERENCE CHAIRS

Dear Colleagues,

We are very pleased to invite you to the 4th NEURO-Course in Neuropathology: Pathology of Central and Peripheral Nervous System. This conference will take place in the hotel Radisson Blu Daugava between 11-12 October 2019. The conference is jointly organised by the Baltic Association of Neuropathologists (BAN), which is part of the European Confederation of Neuropathological Societies, and Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). The prospective audience of the conference includes pathologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, oncologists and other healthcare professional from all Baltic countries. All residents and medical students interested in neuropathology are also kindly welcome to attend the conference.

The conference will mainly be focused on scientific and practical molecular pathology issues in brain tumour diagnostics and classification, however we would have a part devoted to the neuromuscular pathology and basic neuropathology. It is a great honour for us that several internationally renowned speakers have agreed to share their knowledge and experience with us.

Moreover this year we are open for abstracts being submitted to the conference. These can be both for an oral presentation or a poster presentation. Please visit our website for submission details, including the deadline for submissions.

We are looking forward to greeting you in Riga!
