About the Current Study and Work Process at RSU

On Monday, 18 October, the Crisis Management Council of Latvia decided that it is necessary to establish much stricter safety measures in order to reduce the increasing rate of the spread of COVID-19. The new measures stipulate that especially severe COVID-19 restrictions, a strict four-week lockdown, will come into force in Latvia between Thursday, 21 October and 15 November. The regulations have yet to be approved at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting scheduled for Wednesday, 20 October.

As soon as the new regulations will be officially published, relevant measures concerning studies and work at Rīga Stradiņš University will be issued regarding the further study process and work at the university. Until this happens, the previous procedures still remain in force at Rīga Stradiņš University.
