Artis Birziņš is Visiting Lecturer at RSU, specialising in Futures Thinking and Change management. He holds an MBA in International Management from Waseda University (Japan) and has studied innovation management at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga. Birziņš has spent and worked in the technology and innovation environment for more than 20 years, gaining experience in leading positions at Microsoft and IBM. Artis Birziņš currently runs his own start-up Curiosity Ventures in the field of digital transformation consulting and support and is developing AI technology-based educational products. Birziņš teaches Futures Thinking at Nagaoka University of Technology in Japan. The lecturer has won the Imagination Leadership Award from the Institute for the Future.
