In the tutorial, we will discuss aspects of oral and written English for research. We will also do some supplementary exercises in oral and written English.
Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) and the Sheba Medical Center signed a memorandum of understanding on 29 November during the Latvian-Israel Business Forum. The new memorandum will help strengthen collaboration between both institutions, which would benefit the students, academic staff, and researchers of both countries.

Professor Aivars Lejnieks is the Head of the Department of Internal Diseases at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). He recently received the Kristaps Rudzītis Award for his outstanding and long-lasting contribution to the development of internal medicine. Kristaps Rudzītis was a doctor, professor and researcher. Visiting professor, neurosurgeon Dr Juha Hernesniemi will give a lecture on “50 years in neurosurgery” on 9 December at 13:00 in the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Great Hall.
Professor Juha Hernesniemi is an internationally recognised specialist in the field of neurosurgery. He has led the neurosurgery department in Helsinki for many years and has practiced in many countries in the world, including Nepal and China. The professor is also the author of many scientific publications and books.
