Under the leadership of researchers from the Rīga Stradiņš University Latvian Academy of Sport Education (RSU LASE), the most extensive study to date on athletes’ psychological preparedness in Latvia is nearing its final stage. For the first time, the study makes it possible to systematically identify psychophysiological profiles characteristic of Latvian athletes and provides a scientifically grounded framework for integrating psychological preparation into the sports training process.
Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) has received a donation of EUR 25,000 from the Children’s Hospital Foundation. This support is an important step in a targeted collaboration that allows science improve children’s healthcare. The donation is based on a collaboration agreement signed on 12 January by RSU Rector Prof. Aigars Pētersons and the foundation’s Executive Director Vineta Vilistere-Lāce. The agreement confirms the commitment of both partners to provide increasingly effective support for young patients and their families.
