The 6th European Expert Meeting on Rotavirus Vaccination (EEROVAC), hosted by Rīga Stradiņš University, will be held on 23–25 April 2019 in Rīga, Latvia.
On 16 April social anthropologist Paride Bollettin will do a public talk themed 'Who Lives in the Wetlands? Multispecies Collectives and Controversies on Conservation'.

You are welcome to participate in guest lectures conducted by professors of the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University and celebrate Italian Research Day. The lectures will be followed by reception.

Rīga Stradiņš University has a tradition of celebrating achievements and outstanding performance by expressing gratitude to the best students, staff members and structural units who have significantly contributed to research, academic affairs or to the popularisation of RSU. Last Saturday, 6 April, RSU presented its Annual Awards in nine categories. Special prizes were also awarded by the RSU Student Council and the Alumni Association.
6 000 participants representing 28 countries – a record number of participants attended two of three conferences within the framework of Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Research Week. These participants attended the conference Knowledge for Use in Practice on medicine and health sciences and the interdisciplinary conference PLACES on social sciences held on 1-3 April. Almost half of the participants followed the conferences by watching the live stream made available online.
