Professor Ken Arnold, Head of Public Programmes at Wellcome Collection, will give a guest lecture in English on 20 May at 10:15. The lecture is organised by the RSU Institute of the History of Medicine.
Ilze Lutere is a lecturer and dietician at the Department of Sports and Nutrition of the RSU Faculty of Public Health and Social Welfare. In this video, Ilze shows us how to quickly and simply make healthy oat flour pancakes with tuna, cream cheese and vegetables.

On 25 April Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) hosted the international conference Topical Issues of the Legal System which was organised by RSU, the Latvian Association of Lawyers, the Baltic Centre for Strategic Research and other partners. During the opening of the conference Professor Andrejs Vilks, the Dean of the RSU Faculty of Law, stressed that the title of the conference covers a wide range of topics and allows for assessing the most significant challenges of the modern legal system.
From 25 to 27 April the Medical Education Technology Centre of Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) hosted the 5th International scientific and practical conference Health and Personality Development: An Interdisciplinary Approach involving Latvian and foreign experts on psychology, communication, healthcare and other fields.
A photo collage portraying various Erasmus experience stories created by the RSU International Department received an award at the Erasmus Poster Design Competition. The competition took place during the European Association of ERASMUS Coordinators (EAEC) congress ERACON 2019 held in Paphos, Cyprus which was organised in cooperation with the European Commission and the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture. The award was presented for excellence in popularising the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme.
This year the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) award Lecturer of the Year went to Zane Vitenberga-Verza, a graduate of the RSU Faculty of Medicine and a lecturer at the Department of Morphology. She not only competently explains complicated study topics and is adept in the e-studies environment, but also assists students in finding solutions to any problem.
