You are welcome to attend the lecture ‘How to be productive?’ by the Co-founder of Printful, Dāvis Siksnāns. In this lecture Dāvis will share valuable advice and techniques, which he has tested himself, on how to improve productivity in a way that will allow you to reach your goals more effectively - both at work and in your personal life.
In remembrance for those who passed away in the bombings that took place in Sri Lanka on 21 April, the RSU Asian Society will be holding a vigil in the back yard of the RSU main building. The vigil will be held on Monday 29 April from 15:30 to 17:00 and is open to everyone. In case some of you are not be able to attend it, a designated space will be available from morning until 15:30 for the placement of flowers and signs of well-wishes and condolences.
The vigil is organised by the RSU Asian Society.
On April 15 the Italian Embassy in Latvia celebrated Italian Research Day 2019 with Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) and in collaboration with Vita-Salute San Raffeale University (UniSR) in Milan. This annual event recognises Italy’s achievements in science and technology, and is aimed at strengthening the cooperation between Italian researchers and their counterparts in other countries. The Italian Research Day is an initiative supported by the Italian government.

Māris Cepurītis is a lecturer at the Department of Political Science inthe Faculty of European Studies at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU), a political scientist and an expert in international relations. Māris Cepurītis has just been appointed as the Adviser on National Security Affairs to the Prime Minister of Latvia, Krišjānis Kariņš.
Lāsma Ķite recently graduated from the Clinical Pharmacy Master's study programme at the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Faculty of Pharmacy in winter 2019. She won the award of Master’s Student of the Year for her outstanding academic achievements and her active involvement in research.
Data from Wave 7 of the SHARE study (Survey of Health, Aging and Retirement in Europe) has been made available to a wider audience. During Wave 7 of the study data was collected simultaneously in 27 EU countries and in Israel providing a unique opportunity to compare data obtained in Latvia with data from other countries participating in the project.
From 11–12 April Sorbonne University in Paris hosted a General Assembly and Annual Conference of the European University Association (EUA). The conference was dedicated to the topic of driving innovation in European universities.
