On 8-12 May, a regular working group meeting of the Erasmus+ project Health 4 EU Positive Health (2021-1-NL01-KA220-VET-000025229TPMHealth4EU) took place in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. Seven European health and social care education institutions are involved in the project. The Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Liepāja Branch represented Latvia in this project.

Working groups from educational institutions from the Czech Republic, Belgium, Finland, Greece, Latvia, the Netherlands, and Spain have already met previously in Spain and Greece to promote the concept of positive health awareness and integrate it into studies. In the Netherlands, the study material developed during the meeting focused on care for the elderly and homecare. Both directions were viewed through the prism of positive health.

The Liepāja Branch was represented at the meeting by lecturers Līga Ēriksone and Dina Berloviene, as well as students from the Physician’s Assistant study programme Santa Liepniece-Liepiņa and Marija Mihailova.

The meeting can be evaluated as fruitful in achieving the objectives of the project and gaining experience in raising the profile of positive health in the educational institutions of the project partner countries.

The next meeting of the project working group is scheduled to take place in Liepāja on 24-26 October.
