RSU has created a new park for students and local residents

The construction of a pedestrian bridge and the landscaping works that have been carried in the green area between the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) main building and the student hostel have brought a two-year project to a close. This area is now a well-tended and pleasant place of respite for university students and staff, as well as local residents to enjoy. Students have named this area Inspiration Park.

Researchers' Night

On 27 September 2019 visitors had the opportunity to get acquainted with different fields of science as well as themselves by exploring their own body structure or testing the limits of their physical strength during European Researchers’ Night at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). This year’s theme was Science of the Future and the events took place at the Kleisti Science Hub (5 Rātsupītes Iela) and at the Medical Education Technology Centre (26a Anniņmuižas Bulvāris).

Cinema Lab will close out this year's series of films and lectures, organised by the Faculty of Communication of the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU), and sponsored by the US Embassy in Latvia, with the film All the President's Men (dir: Alan J. Pakula). As usual, the film will be preceded by a discussion to which lecturer and film theorist Dita Rietuma has invited Chad Twitty, the press and cultural attaché of the US Embassy in Rīga, and Elīna Vrobļevska, a political science lecturer at the RSU Faculty of European Studies.
