In order to ensure a continuous flow of information to students the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) International Student Department and the Faculty of Medicine will be holding a live broadcast on Wednesday 8 April to give the most up-to-date information about the study process.
Maija Vikmane defended her Doctoral Thesis “Assessment of Factors Determining Efficacy of Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy for Patients with Heart Failure in the Population of Latvia” on 27 January at a public session of the Doctoral Council of Medicine of Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU).
A sixth year medical student from Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU), who wishes to remain anonymous, applied to volunteer and is using her skills and knowledge to help test and diagnose patients with COVID-19. The student is volunteering at a mobile testing tent set up next to the Latvian Centre of Infectious Diseases and in the territory of the Biķernieki race track.
