Representatives from the RSU Faculty of Law regularly take part in various CEPOL trainings through the agency’s Leed platform. The topics covered are mainly related to combatting of crime, investigation, and victims’ rights.

The EU Agency for Law Enforcement Training supports various international events and seminars. International researchers give the opportunity to fill in questionnaires and collect information on different aspects of policing in EU member states through CEPOL.

CEPOL is currently organising a major international hybrid conference that will be held in Vilnius (Lithuania) from 1 to 3 December in cooperation with Mykolas Romeris University. Representatives from Latvia will chair working groups and give presentations. A current issue in policing is the impact that COVID-19 is having on policing and the uncontrollable rise in internet crime and fraud.

Anyone interested in the upcoming event can apply via the CEPOL website: www.cepol.europa.eu
