On 26 March, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) will host its 12th International Student Conference in Health and Social Sciences to be one of the largest student-organised international conferences in the Baltics and Northern Europe. Over the course of two days, the event will bring together nearly 5,000 students from 17 countries, highlighting RSU as a major centre for international academic collaboration.
Robežsardze / RSU volleyball team has convincingly secured a place in the Latvian Championship final, defeating the Līgatne team 2–0 in the semifinal series. In the final, Robežsardze / RSU will face the Daugavpils team Ezerzeme / DU. The decisive matches for the Latvian Championship medals will take place in April.

On Tuesday, 17 March, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) held a meeting of its Convent of Councillors, during which attendees discussed current issues related to the university’s development. The meeting was opened by Prof. Ludmila Vīksna, Chair of the Convent of Councillors, and RSU Rector Prof. Aigars Pētersons, who emphasised that the university is purposefully strengthening its position as a leader in the development of artificial intelligence (AI) in Latvian higher education.

The annual Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Academic Ball will take place on Friday 24 April 2026 at 19:00 at Hanzas Perons (arrivals from 18:00).
The RSU Academic Ball has been held since 2002 and serves as a well-deserved culmination of the intellectual and practical work carried out throughout the academic year.

From 19 to 20 March, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) will host the second Baltic Flow Cytometry Society conference – BFCS2026, which will bring together more than 200 scientists, clinicians, and industry experts from the Baltic States, Poland, the United Kingdom, Spain, the United States, France, Germany, Ireland, the Czech Republic, and Cyprus to share the latest achievements in flow cytometry in biomedicine, oncology, and other medical fields.
