RSU/VEF Riga basketball players begin the fight for the National Basketball League champion title. In the final series, the RSU team will meet the Gulbenes Buki/BJSS team.

On 21 April, researchers from the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Institute of Occupational Safety and Environmental Health presented the results of the most comprehensive human biomonitoring study conducted in Latvia to date, which for the first time, on such a large scale, analysed the presence of various chemicals in the population.
When speaking with Ināra Aploka, Director of the RSU Library, it becomes clear that in a modern university a library is no longer just a place where books are stored on shelves. It is a place where knowledge, technology, and people come together to help navigate the vast world of information.
The RSU/VEF Rīga team has advanced to the finals of the Ramirent National Basketball League, organised by the Latvian Basketball Association, after convincingly defeating Kandava/Turība (2-0) in the series. The RSU basketball players will face Gulbenes Buki/BJSS in the fight for the league championship title.
The final series will be played as a best-of-three, with the first game taking place this Wednesday, 22 April, at 19:30 in Riga, at the Team Sports Hall (Kr. Barona Street 99c).
Last week, 13 and 14 April, the Faculty of Social Sciences of Rīga Stradiņš University was represented for the first time as a member in the events of The Baltic Geopolitics Network (BGN), an international cooperation network established by the University of Cambridge. The network brings together leading academic and research institutions from Europe and North America with significant expertise in political, social, and security processes in the Baltic Sea region.
