Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) invites everyone to attend the European Researchers’ Night on 26 September from 18:00 to 22:00 and explore the fields of medicine, dentistry, sports science, and learn about the latest research achievements at the university.
On Friday, 19 September 2025, a cooperation agreement will be signed in the RSU Rectorate Hall (16 Dzirciema iela) on a long-term strategic partnership to promote men's volleyball. The agreement provides for RSU's involvement in the Baltic Volleyball League team Robežsardze/ Rīga and the creation of a new farm club, RSU Robežsardze/Rīga.
On 24 September 2025, the Boris and Ināra Teterev Foundation will hold a ceremony in the RSU Senate Hall to award its Medal of Honor to Prof. Aigars Pētersons, Rector of Rīga Stradiņš University, and to announce the foundation's scholarship recipients.

Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) welcomed Deven Krishna Reddy to its campus this summer as part of the Stanford Global Studies Internship Programme. Riga has become one of the more sought-after destinations for Stanford students in this programme, and in recent years RSU has developed a close partnership with Stanford University in the field of China studies. A speed friending event is held at the beginning of each semester at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). It’s a fun and easy way for local and international students to connect and make new friends.
The event starts with icebreaker activities, followed by the main session – speed friending. Participants have a few minutes to talk to each partner before rotating, ensuring everyone gets a chance to meet. At the end, students can exchange their contact information, socialise, enjoy snacks and drinks, or simply hang out.
