Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
Theoretical course of the master's program "Clinical Pharmacy" has been mastered. Pharmacology, pharmacotherapy, practical pharmacy and pharmaceutical legislation, social pharmacy and pharmaceutical care.
Objective:
To strengthen students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired in various study cycles of the master's program "Clinical Pharmacy".
Assessment
Unaided Work:
Each week of the placement, the student must perform an analysis of one clinical case, including patient information, treatment regimen used, clinical trial data for the case, drug treatment suggestions referring to the principles of evidence-based medicine, treatment course cost analysis (both initial and recommended adjustments). A total of 3 clinical cases for each student.
Assessment Criteria:
In the placement exam, the assessment of the student's knowledge takes place in a 10-point system. Analysis of 3 clinical cases. Analysis of drugs used in anaesthesiology and intensive care.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:The student will understand the circulation of inpatient medicines and documentation.
Skills:The student will be able to analyze and evaluate the medical treatment of the patient. Together with doctor will be able to set up a treatment plan and monitor its implementation.
Competencies:The student will evaluate and analyze the compliance of treatment schemes with international recommendations and available financial resources.
