Anatomy, physiology, symptoms of certain diseases.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Individual work – learning about the general and special pharmacology, as well as selection and analysis of information on medicines, their application and use in the treatment process. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria:
The total assessment is made up of: Final examination – a written exam (multiple-choice test) 50% and work in classes / successfully passing weekly tests 50%.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:As a result of completing the study course, students obtain basic theoretical knowledge in pharmacology.
Skills:Upon completion of the study course, students will be able to evaluate the role of drug therapy in the organisation of health care, will know the most commonly used groups of drugs, their effects and side effects.
Competencies:As a result of completing the study course, students will be able to: • generalise the risks and benefits of the relevant drug treatment; • interpret professional information on drugs.
