Preliminary Knowledge: | Clinical pharmacology and pharmacotherapy | ||||||||
Objective: | 1. Become familiar with drug use in hospital, data presenting opportunities (DDD/1000 bed days). Give deeper understanding of topics about safe and rational drug use in hospital setting, drug dosing, also in special patient groups, for patients with organ failure, as well about therapeutic drug monitoring opportunities and main principles. 2. Improve student skills in pharmacotherapeutic problem identification (e.g. drug side effects and drug interactions), documentation and resolving. | ||||||||

Assessment Criteria: | Independent analysis of clinical case with presentation. In clinical case presentation there must be identified at least one real or potential problem with suggested solution. Answer to clinical pharmacist question bout drug administration/ interaction etc. | ||||||||
