Assessment
Unaided Work:
1. The material examined in lectures and seminars is the minimum necessary for gaining the required knowledge. Other matters that are not addressed in the contact classes should be independently studied by the student. All the topics to be learned in the study course are listed in the course description. 2. The study of materials during out-of-class period should be systematic. It should be taken into consideration that two hours of class work (90 minutes) requires at least 3 hours of extracurricular work (essay writing / individual work / preparation for seminars). 3. Seminars are held in groups. Students prepare individually for the seminar. A detailed organisation of the seminar work is included in the seminar instruction for the relevant seminar that is sent to students 5 – 7 calendar days before the seminar. Students are required to prepare for the class in accordance with the instructions, for example, to resolve the case given, study additional questions and find answers to them, if any, and then, in the seminar, to be able to defend their opinion and justify it in the discussions with other students. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria:
During the course, students will have two tests without prior notice, for which the student will receive and assessment, and the assessment will be given for work in seminars, for the end-of-course paper and the examination. The following is needed for the final assessment: 1) Independent development of the end-of-course paper. 2) Attendance of classes and successful assessment for seminars, includint test on all topics covered in the course. 3) Passed examination.
