Preliminary Knowledge:
Research methodology, professional activity.
Objective:
To improve the postgraduate students' comprehension about research and skills in developing their own research project by including a detailed justification and implementation process, planned procedures for data obtaining and processing, assess possible risks and threats of the planned research, describe ethical aspects of research.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
To search for, select and analyse literature relevant to the topic of research and develop the research project by including the justification of the research, literature review and a detailed description of the methodology; to evaluate possible risks and threats of the planned research, characterise ethical aspects of the research; to present the project.
Assessment Criteria:
Introduction, literature review, description of methodology, analysis and presentation of research data, its visual and verbal aspects.
Final Examination (Full-Time):Defence (Master’s thesis)

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Comprehend, compare and critically evaluate various theoretical statements and research results related to the topic of research; comprehend the requirements for drafting Master's Thesis and assessment criteria.
Skills:Formulate research questions according to the topic, select and critically evaluate sources of literature, justify the topicality and the problem of the research, formulate the aim of the research and question(s) / hypothesis(-es), select the research methodology appropriate to the purpose of research in accordance with ethical norms, describe methods for the planned data analysis, evaluate the risks and threats of the potential research. Carry out data collection, processing and analysis, description and interpretation of the results obtained.
Competencies:Independently plans and carries out the research corresponding to basic principles and ethical standards of research.
