Preliminary Knowledge:
In normal anatomy, functional physiology, fundamentals of physics, surgery and internal diseases.
Objective:
Learn the aetiology, pathogenesis, clinic, complications, treatment principles of oncological diseases.

Unaided Work:
During the study course, students independently prepare for theoretical lectures on individual topics.
Assessment Criteria:
Students’ participation in practical classes is assessed (20%), successful passing of theoretical tests (30%), at the end of the course – exam (50%).

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Upon completing the study course, the student is able to describe oncological diseases and diagnosis thereof, is able to name and describe the principles of treatment of these diseases.
Skills:As a result of completing the study course, the student knows how to differentiate the clinical signs and symptoms of oncology diseases, to rank them according to severity and degree of danger.
Competencies:Will be able to assess, plan and provide measures for oncology patients.
