Preliminary Knowledge: | Anatomy, physiology, communication and ethics. | ||||||||
Objective: | To develop an understanding of medical disciplines by learning the main skin diseases, their aetiology, clinics and tactics in emergency situations. | ||||||||

Unaided Work: | Learning the topics of the course using e-studies materials, recommended literature and internet resources, participation in practical classes. Independently prepared presentation related to the latest scientific research in dermatology. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | Class attendance, ability to answer questions on topics covered in class (50%), presentation on current research in dermatology (50%) - test. A combined examination of the module Clinical Medicine at the end of the cycle of courses (dermatovenerology, neurology, internal diseases, general surgery and traumatology, pharmacology). | ||||||||

Knowledge: | The student will be able to identify skin types and explain the aetiology, clinic and tactics of skin diseases in acute situations. | ||||||||
Skills: | Students will be able to assess the skin condition of a patient/client and evaluate the aetiology and symptomatology of skin diseases. They will be able to deal with acute situations. | ||||||||
Competencies: | Students will be able to recognise pathological changes in the skin, assess the patient’s condition and perform a massage procedure according to the patient’s condition. | ||||||||
