Preliminary Knowledge:
Pharmacology, Clinical care basics, Clinical care, Practice 1, The process of care and nursing theory, Interpersonal communication in health care.
Objective:
To integrate patient care and related manipulations in accordance with the profession standard, nursing ethics, and the knowledge, skills and competences acquired during the 1st and 2nd semester. Apply positive communication skills to the care process of the patient, as well as working with his/her relatives and other team members. To base the practice on legal and ethical principles.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Students are recommended to maintain presence in all practical classes, to fill appropriate placement documentation. Mutual suggestions about quality and organisation of the placement.
Assessment Criteria:
Assessment criteria: Seminar on the placement course. Placement review – "Practice 2" submission, evaluation according to the supervisor.

Knowledge:Clinical procedures; care activities that ensure patient needs.
Skills:Practical skills in the conduct of clinical procedures, including: enteral and parenteral input of medicines, laboratory investigation collection, preparation of a patient before diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, surgical procedures.
Competencies:Ability to work as a professional, integrating theoretical and professional knowledge, including personal skills.
