Preliminary Knowledge:
Knowledge in nursing study subjects, informatics and statistical methods.
Objective:
To promote the development of competence of health professionals that would ensure and implement an evidence-based care process individually and by participating in research and projects in the field of health care and social welfare.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Get acquainted with RSU and MDAK documentation, which is connected to the development of a bachelor’s thesis. To prepare for classes on “Project Application”, “Qualitative and “Quantitative Research”, Analysis and Interpretation of Results, Development of the Tool and Collection of Initial Data. Prepare a MDAK_B1 form for the seminar and MDAK_B2 for pre-defence. Answer e-test questions in the e-studies. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria:
100% class attendance is required for the student to be allowed to take the exam for this course, all tests must be passed successfully. Cumulative rating is formed from: • The student performs the task: Pub. Med's execution and analysis - 10% of the total evaluation; • B1 page presentation - 20% of the total assessment; • Passing the e-test - 20% (at least 55% must be obtained in the test, which corresponds to grade I 4 of the RSU Study Regulations); • At the end of the course, the student takes an exam (oral form): presentation of B2 page - 50% of the total cumulative assessment (repeated defense of B2 page will be reduced by 10%). Assessment in the course is based on a 10-point system, according to RSU Study Regulations I.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:• Will be able to recognise and describe the importance of research in health care. • Will be able to name and describe research principles, ethical aspects and regulatory enactments. • Will be able to describe the types of research design and research cycle. • Will be able to describe the research problem, topicality and basic research principles.
