Assessment Criteria:
A 10-point system is used for evaluating students' knowledge and skills, the criteria described in the RSU Study Regulations are used for evaluation. The final assessment of the course takes place in the form of a written exam, which must reflect the knowledge acquired during the course, which constitutes 50% of the final assessment of the study course. During the course of study, you must participate in seminars (5% of the final grade) and develop the course work (45% of the final grade).
Final Examination (Full-Time):Exam (Written)
Final Examination (Part-Time):Exam (Written)
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:As a result of the study course students acquire basic knowledge about the signs and course of internal illness, the specifics of patient care, the meaning and management of care.
Skills:As a result of the course the students will be able to recognise complaints and course of internal diseases, to identify and formulate care problems for patients with diagnoses of internal diseases, as well as to plan and implement the care process by assessing and analysing patients' social functioning abilities.
Competencies:As a result of the course acquisition students will be able to understand the subjective and objective symptoms and syndromes of organ system disorders, to identify the main clinical signs and to differentiate them according to their severity, to predict and to plan patient care. Students will be able to professionally collaborate with patients (both individually and in an interdisciplinary team), adhere to medical ethics, and respect the right of patients to take responsibility for independent learning and to act as a health promoter in the context of specific and non-specific prophylaxis and methods.
