Assessment
Unaided Work:
To get acquainted with the recommended reading sources for each particular practical session. Independent training on simulators.
Assessment Criteria:
Attendance – 100%, active participation in classes. A test of theoretical knowledge (in writing) and one practical task.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Students will acquire basic knowledge of the patient's care, recovery-promoting factors. Will demonstrate orientation in the latest medical technologies used in clinical care.
Skills:Students will assess the patient's condition and the practical conduct of clinical procedure, determine the patient's vital and anthropometric indicators, perform procedures related to the gastrointestinal tract (probing enema, intestinal stoma care, the patient's tube-feeding, etc.) and document the carried out procedures.
Competencies:Will be able to apply and evaluate appropriate clinical procedures, medical devices, and other activities to ensure optimal patient care. Will be able to analyse situations, to argue logically to formulate and explain their views.
