Assessment
Unaided Work:
Special literature search and use, theoretical material analysis, independent slide analysis, scheme analysis. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria:
Evaluation is based on these criteria: activity during the practical classes and level of attendance, course material study with the help of slide analysis, literature reading, using books, and e-sources. The final evaluation is a written exam (100%). End-of-course written examination testing students’ theoretical knowledge of tissue and organ morphology and practical skills in analysing specimens and/or schematic images.
Final Examination (Full-Time):Exam (Written)
Final Examination (Part-Time):
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Student gains knowledge on essential facts of tissue development, functional morphology of basic tissue groups and systems, explains and justifies principles of regulation of tissue functions, aging and adaptation reactions.
Skills:On successful course completion student is able to analyse basic tissue groups and organism systems, their functional morphology, human development basis.
Competencies:Student determines slide quality, tissue and tissue structure relationship and proportions, interprets histology slides.
