Objective: | To introduce theoretical and practical knowledge in social psychology and possibilities to employe the knowledge in everyday practice when working with people and groups. the course provides insight into the analyses of the personality in a social context un to provide knowledge on the psychological structure in the social context. Students will learn to recognise the psychological phenomenons in practice. | ||||||||

Assessment Criteria: | Cumulative assessment. In accordance to the Study regulations, students pass an exam. Analyses of a situation from the perspective of social psychology. Exam has to be submitted at E-studies. | ||||||||

Learning Outcomes | |||||||||
Knowledge: | Students get knowledge on social psychology as science, research methods; basic knowledge on development of attitudes, structure and types of of communication; on group phenomenon, group structure and processes; and basic knowledge on group management and leadership. | ||||||||
Skills: | Students understand social psychology theoretical perspectives, can express their opinion orally and in written form, are able to evaluate otherness, develop the critical thinking. Students get knowledge and skills to recognize phenomenon and effects in social psychology. Students are able recognize the styles of influence and their role in communication. Students are able to recognize stereotypes and preconceptions, and discrimination. | ||||||||
Competencies: | Students are able to employ knowledge in social psychology - to analyze and others from social psychology perspective. Students are able to understand and analyze non-verbal communication and it's role. Students are able to assess the basic signs of stress and burnout and to plan preventive activities in stress development. | ||||||||
