Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
Basic knowledge on research methodologies, skills in literature search and basic skills in scientific writing.
Objective:
The aim of this course is to enable students to become informed consumers and producers of research.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Reading tasks, critical appraisal of publications and scientific presentations, development and presentation of own master thesis research project. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria:
Cumulative examination- evaluation from course leader and peers for different study tasks during the course (50%) and presentations of research project for master thesis study (50%).

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Student will be able to analyse research topics in the field and formulate research questions related to own professional competence.
Skills:Will demonstrate skills to plan and manage research process according to legal and ethical principles.
