Preliminary Knowledge:
Knowledge and skills acquired in bachelor study course Physiotherapy in Pediatrics, English language skills.
Objective:
Promote understanding of the use of evidence-based physiotherapy in paediatrics, evaluation and treatment planning in the context of ICF.

Unaided Work:
Independent work with reading sources; scientific article analysis and preparation for the seminars; independent group work development; independent work.
Assessment Criteria:
• active participation in all seminars, demonstrating ability to analyze seminar texts; • presentation of independent group work; • presentation of individual work in written form and oral presentation.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Physiotherapy methods (assessment and treatment) used in pediatric settings in context of evidence and latest scientific recognition; rehabilitation problem solving model according to ICF in different paediatric physiotherapy settings.
Skills:Ability to find, select and analyse literature related to problem (clinical / field / research); ability to interpret level of evidence; ability to integrate evidence in pediatric physiotherapy practice, choose evidence-based patients assessment methods to detect physiotherapy effectiveness and goal achievement.
Competencies:Apply synthesis of experience, knowledge and scientific evidence in physiotherapy practice. Planning of continuity research in pediatric physiotherapy services and interdisciplinar cooperation to support social and medical rehabilitation for children with functional disorders, including transition to the adult life.
