Objective: | Motivate students for the acquisition of the chosen functional specialist profession, provide basic information on the progress of a successful study process in the RSU and the organisation of health care, rehabilitation medicine and social assistance in Latvia. | ||||||||

Knowledge: | As a result of successful course acquisition, students will be able to describe objectives and scientific grounds, understand the legal aspects of their chosen functional profession, know the principles of health care, rehabilitation, social assistance and social security. | ||||||||
Skills: | Will know the principles of RSU library and database use, will be able to guid themselves in principles of health care, rehabilitation and social assistance/insurance organisation. Will have a good knowledege of the regulatory documents for RSU studies. | ||||||||
Competencies: | Understanding of the study process and the speciality of the chosen functional profession. | ||||||||
