Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
Theory of Microeconomics, Theory of Macroeconomics, International Marketing, Research Methodology in Economics, Statistics, International Communication and Business Ethics.
Objective:
To provide students with an in-depth understanding of the practical application of theoretical knowledge acquired in the relevant field of social sciences.
Assessment
Unaided Work:
Placement report with completed placement assignments.
Assessment Criteria:
It is assessed whether the placement assignments have been completed and whether the student has acquired the ability to present the obtained results.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:The students acquire knowledge of the principles of operation of a company in the particular field.
Skills:Ability to describe the field of sector and sub-sector, direction, characteristic key indicators of the company/organisation. Ability to analyse the area of activity of the company/organisation. Ability to evaluate the size of the company/organisation (micro, small, medium, large) according to the following criteria: turnover, balance total, number of employees. Ability to analyse and systematise the obtained information. Ability to use data processing methods. Ability to enhance teamwork skills. Ability to communicate with the company/organisation staff.
Competencies:Using the knowledge acquired during the study process, students clarify the mission, vision, goals (strategic, tactical, operational) of the company/organisation. Using the knowledge acquired during the study process, students evaluate the plan system of the company/organisation (long-term, short-term, operational plans).
