Preliminary Knowledge:
Chemistry, biology and physics at secondary school level.
Objective:
Promote the understanding of the importance of physical activities in ensuring the physical and mental health of children and young people. To introduce children and adolescents fitness trends. To promote planning and implementation of age-appropriate lesons.

Unaided Work:
Practical use of knowledge acquired in lectures in own job. Reading thematical literature.
Assessment Criteria:
Active participation in classes 50% and theoreticl test 50%

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Children and adolescents participation in physical and sports activities in accordance with the abilities at different ages.
Skills:On successful study course acquisition, student will be able to distinguish the peculiarities of training for children and adolescents from training for adults, choose appropriate training methods and techniques for working with children and young people, justify the necessity of physical activities in the everyday life of children and young people.
Competencies:Develop physical activity recommendations and exercise plans for children and adolescents, depending on their health status, fitness level and goals, using the basic principles of health sports training. Educate and persuade children and adolescents about the necessity and role of physical exercise in today's society.
