Preliminary Knowledge:
Anatomy and physiology.
Objective:
Acquire knowledge and practical skills in the use of physical exercise in health sports, body composition and physical fitness.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Prepare one training programme (type optional). Specify the objective and prepare 8-10 exercises according to the objective, dosage, equipment ( if used), instructions on how to perform the exercise, if necessary. Sample lesson design in e-studios. Can also be designed in a way that suits you, but should include the above criteria clearly. Submitted during the session. Group work, prepare a training programme, present in a practical way ( form optional). Prepare exercises describing a specific type of activity. Prepares warm-up and cool-down exercises, uses exercise equipment. Presents during the semester. Independently performs a variety of physical activities to improve own physical performance. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria:
Cumulative Assessment - Examination, consists of three sections. Active participation in practical sessions, completion of independent work (40%), written part - develop one training session programme (30%), practical part - conducting/presentation of training programme (during class) (30%).

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Students will be able to: describe different types of health-enhancing exercise; describe the importance of physical exercise in health sports; describe strength, cardio, interval, balance training load in improving physical fitness, body composition, create individualised training sessions, exercise combinations, talk about breathing when performing strength, aerobic, flexibility exercises; describe the technical execution of exercise; list physical load parameters in aerobic, strength, interval, circuit training sessions.
Skills:Students will be able to: explain the use of aerobic, strength, muscle stretching, balance exercises to improve health, fitness and body composition; assess the load in health sport classes depending on physical ability and goal; use different exercise equipment in health sport classes; control their muscle work, dose the load and monitor their well-being and heart function; design training classes based on physical ability, goal and explain the choice of exercises; demonstrate and explain the technical execution of exercises.
Competencies:Students will be able to educate and motivate clients about the need for physical exercises, as a component of a healthy lifestyle, in strengthening health, their application in improving body composition, physical fitness, recommending and creating individualized training programs for achieving the desired goals.
