Objective: | To further the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and its practical application on the subject of project development and management by developing and presenting a project in a group of students on a topic according to their interest for submission to one of their chosen national or international calls for project proposals. | ||||||||

Assessment | |||||||||
Unaided Work: | To independently consolidate the lecture material by reading the indicated sources systematically. Working in groups of four to five students, develop a project that complies with their professional interests to submit to any of the self-chosen national or international project tenders. To present the project. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | According to the criteria and structure, laid down by the self-chosen national or international project tender, prepare in writing and present the application for the project. The final evaluation, based on the outline of the project in the form of a presentation, consists of: 1) assessment of the course lecturer (50%), 2) motivated evaluation of the project presentation by peers (25%), 3) motivated project evaluation of the presentation group itself (25%). | ||||||||

Learning Outcomes | |||||||||
Knowledge: | Students explain the concept of the project, mention the basic principles for its creation, planning, implementation and management, as well as team formation, attraction of funds and risk assessment. | ||||||||
Skills: | Students select and compile the information about the available project tenders, define a topical and creative project idea, plan the aspects of activities, funding, control, risk management, communication and teamwork, as well as select the collaboration partners. Describe the project according to the criteria and structure, laid down by the chosen project tender. Present their own idea and project. | ||||||||
Competencies: | During the teamwork, students plan and describe a project which corresponds to the basic principles of project management and present it to the audience. | ||||||||
