Preliminary Knowledge: | Organisational psychology. | ||||||||
Objective: | To provide an opportunity to develop skills in research, analysis, consulting organisations, as well as to develop skills in personnel selection, performance appraisal, talent management, employee development and motivation systems. | ||||||||

Unaided Work: | Active participation in supervisions. Requirements: The student actively participates in all supervisions, productively participates in the work of the supervision group, discussions on the specific issue, problem. Analysis of the problem identified in the company and its presentation in supervision. Requirements: The student identifies a specific problem in the chosen organisation (for example, in relation to the employee, team work, process efficiency, division of functions, organisational culture), prepares a research plan and coordinates it with the internship mentor, performs psychological research analysis, situation analysis, basic organisational process (e.g. sales, logistics, production, product development, service, etc.) and ancillary processes (e.g. administration, recruitment, management, occupational safety, etc.) research, describes and analyses processes, prepares a description of necessary improvements, prepares a presentation on necessary improvements. Preparation of internship report. Requirements: The student prepares an internship report including information about the internship place, the time spent in it and the tasks performed, observations of the internship mentor's work, as well as a reflection on the tasks performed during the internship. Essay. Requirements: The student writes an essay on the topic "Basic personnel management processes of a modern organisation" and submits it on the specified date. The essay summarizes important information about such personnel management processes, such as personnel selection, performance appraisal, talent management, employee development, development of motivation systems, using appropriate literature sources. | ||||||||

Skills: | • Sets and coordinates with the client the goals of providing psychological assistance in accordance with the needs of the organization and the basic principles of psychological science; • Distinguishes and describes different company processes; • Formulates a measurable problem in the context of the organization; • Uses psychological research methods (interviews, tests, surveys, observation); • Processes the obtained materials, draws up protocols, draws conclusions from the obtained data; • Distinguishes between performance appraisal and personnel selection methods; • Distinguishes the basic processes of talent management, employee development and motivation systems. | ||||||||
