Assessment
Unaided Work:
Individual work – to write a report on the prescriptions prepared in each practical class and solve situational problems. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria:
Successfully passed 4 theoretical test works for full-time students. The first semester test consists of a set of solved situational problems. An exam consisting of 1 written theoretical questions and two prescription formulas.
Final Examination (Full-Time):Exam (Written)
Final Examination (Part-Time):
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:As a result of successfully completing the study course, the student: 1. Will have the knowledge of the theoretical basis of the preparation of pharmaceutical dosage forms. 2. Will be able to answer questions about the preparation of dosage forms in a pharmacy. 3. Will be able to explain and justify the order of addition of ingredients to each dosage form.
Skills:As a result of completing the study course, the student will be able: 1. To apply the methods of dosage form technology to the preparation of medicinal products in a pharmacy setting; 2. To prepare a variety of dosage forms with sufficient speed and quality; 3. To assess the quality of prepared dosage forms and explain their use.
Competencies:As a result of completing the study course, students will be able to prepare medicinal products according to individual formulae in the pharmacy.
