Preliminary Knowledge:
Acquisition of the study course Legal Theory.
Objective:
Provide basic knowledge on the effective Civil Law, general civil law aspects, civil law institutions in the area of private law. Tasks: 1. Facilitate acquisition of knowledge on civil rights institutions; 2. Develop student’s skills in solving legal cases; 3. Increase students’ knowledge on general civil rights issues.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Independent written work on the basis of the topics provided and requirements set at the classes, individual studies of the listed legal literature and case law materials, preparing an individual presentation on the chosen civil law transaction subject.
Assessment Criteria:
Mastering the topics of the study course, participation in seminars and practical classes, passing of regular tests.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:The students have knowledge on the civil law institutions, know how to solve legal cases, have an understanding of the general civil law concepts, competent in the civil law system.
Skills:Ability to describe the types of contract law; skills to apply the classification of cases in practice, competence in describing the forms of acquisition and termination of property rights, can describe the forms of entering into and terminating a marriage and the consequences; can describe the mutual rights and obligations of parents and children and can describe the basis for obtaining inheritance.
Competencies:Ability to independently solve legal cases, asses the compliance of a practical case with the civil law institution, has a good command of the basic civil law matters.
