Preliminary Knowledge:
Common understanding about scientific writing, basic knowledge about documentation of research results.
Objective:
Student acquires theoretical knowledge and practical skills about writing scientific publications and publishing research results.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Student independently acquires knowledge from recommended literature sources, summarises information, individually prepares abstract and presentation about his/her research topic and results. It is recommended to fill in the study course survey, evaluating the existing course content and creating proposals for updating the course.
Assessment Criteria:
Cumulative assessment: preparation of a scientific abstract (50%) and preparation of an oral presentation (50%).

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Upon completion of the course, students have acquired basic knowledge about academic writing, parts of research papers, forms of presentation of research results.
Skills:Upon completion of the course students are able to choose appropriate forms for publishing research results, to prepare reference lists, and have acquired practical skills for formation and presentation of their research results.
Competencies:Upon completion of the course students will be knowledgable about the publishing process of research results, they will be able to prepare an abstract, presentation and research publication about their theme and results of research work.
