Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
Completed the theoretical course of the master's program "Clinical Pharmacy". Pharmacology, pharmacotherapy, practical pharmacy and pharmaceutical legislation, social pharmacy and pharmaceutical care.
Objective:
To strengthen students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired in various study cycles of the Master's program "Clinical Pharmacy".
Assessment
Unaided Work:
In each practice week, the student must perform an analysis of one clinical case, including the patient's information, the applied treatment regimen, clinical research data on the relevant case, drug treatment suggestions referring to the principles of evidence-based medicine, cost analysis of treatment courses (both in cases of initial and recommended corrections). The choice of the patient to be analyzed must be coordinated with the head of the practice. Each student performs a constant case analysis, group work is not allowed. During the practice, students get acquainted with the diagnoses, examination data, treatment schemes of patients selected by the practice manager (2-4 patients per week). In the practice diary, indicating the number of known patients and their diagnoses.
Assessment Criteria:
Reports in the internship diary about the cycle are signed by the student and the internship supervisor. Internship leader records the evaluation of the student's internship in a 10-point system in the diary.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:The student will understand the circulation of inpatient medications and documentation.
Skills:The student will be able to analyze and evaluate drug treatment for an endocrinological patient. Together with the doctor, you will be able to create a treatment scheme and monitor its implementation.
Competencies:The student will evaluate and analyze the compliance of treatment schemes with international recommendations and available financial resources.
