Preliminary Knowledge:
General knowledge of science, writing of research paper.
Objective:
The aim of the course is to prepare a specialist who has knowledge and skills needed for carrying out scientific research work. Objectives: to promote acquisition of knowledge needed for conducting research work.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Work with normative acts and sources of literature, databases, etc.; selection of scientifically reliable information for the development of an individual project.
Assessment Criteria:
A student who has attended less than half of the classes and has not passed the practical work is not allowed to take an exam. The final assessment for the course consists of a mark for practical work and the test, the main criterion of which is the amount and quality of the acquired knowledge.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:About the nature of research work and the role of methodology in research.
Skills:To plan the research work and understand the role of methodology in research. On completion of the study course the student will have to be able to write an introduction for the research paper, including formulating the research problem and methodology; the student has to be able to format the research paper.
Competencies:Ability to write an introduction of the research paper independently; be able to recognise methodological mistakes; be able to format the research paper.
