Objective:
To provide students with the opportunity of learning about the competence of the Civil Police authorities and the organisation of work in the field of maintaining public order and traffic management. Tasks: 1. To provide students with knowledge about the tasks of the State Police and the competence of the Civil Police authorities in the field of maintaining public order and traffic management. 2. To provide students with knowledge about the concepts and essence of public order, public security, internal security, and national security. 3. To provide students with knowledge about the work of the Civil Police in maintaining public order. 4. To provide students with knowledge about the prerequisites for effective operation of the patrol service. 5. To provide students with knowledge about the police work in the field of traffic management.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:By learning about the study subject, students will gain knowledge about the competence of the Civil Police authorities and the organisation of work in the field of maintaining public order and traffic management.
Skills:By learning about the study subject, students will be able to identify the most common problem situations in the field of maintaining public order and traffic management, to identify the measures that foster the interaction between the police and society, as well as the role and place of prevention in the field of national security.
Competencies:By learning about the study subject, students will be able to demonstrate, clarify and define problems in the field of maintaining public order and traffic management, to conduct independent research.
