| Objective: | Gain knowledge of the system of law enforcement institutions in Latvia, the content of their activities, principles competence and structural peculiarities. Tasks: 1. Promote students’ understanding of the law enforcement institutions in Latvia, their system; 2. Enhance students’ understanding of regulatory enactments regulating the activities of these institutions; 3. Enhance students’ understanding of the structure of individual institutions, principles of operation, competence and powers of the officials. | ||||||||
