| Preliminary Knowledge: | Basic skills in work with computers, state language and English language proficiency. | ||||||||
| Objective: | To acquaint students with information technologies and application opportunities of computer software in work at the institutions of the Ministry of the Interior; to stimulate students’ interest in information technologies and the need to master them; to extend and improve each student’s individual knowledge and skills in practical use of the computer and in obtaining, processing and storing of information; to encourage development of analytical skills through the research process of software and information technology. Task: to extend and improve each student’s individual knowledge and skills in practical use of computer. | ||||||||

| Skills: | Able to use general and special terminology, to carry out practical tasks related to data selection and input into information systems used by police, border guards, prison and probation services; able to obtain information from websites, gather electronic evidence at the scene; able to obtain electronic evidence from digital media. | ||||||||
