Preliminary Knowledge:
Secondary school level knowledge of Latvian history.
Objective:
To analyse Latvian cultural space and politics together with the students.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
To write a critical essay on cultural processes in Latvia. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria:
Analytical skills – ability to analyse Latvian cultural policy planning documents (for example, concept, development plan).

Knowledge:After completing the course, the student will be able to apply the knowledge of Latvian cultural history.
