Preliminary Knowledge:
Human anatomy, physiology, pathological physiology, classical massage.
Objective:
To acquire knowledge and develop understanding of the practical application of special types of massage: pressure point massage and foot massage.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Attendance of lectures and practical classes, preparation for examination according to the content of the study course; preparation for the final examination of the study course; individual and group work; work with study materials, study literature (research, analysis); drawing up of practical work results; performance of specific tasks; preparation of presentations; attending consultations on the content of the study course.
Assessment Criteria:
Testing of knowledge in the form of a short test during each practical class. Review and assessment of students’ independent work. Final test of theoretical knowledge at the end of the study course – a test.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:As a result of learning special massages, students will know the basic techniques and indications of pressure point and foot massage and aesthetic machine massage.
Skills:As a result of learning about special massages, students will be able to use the basic techniques and application technique and methodology of pressure point and foot massage. To equip a massage salon and use the substances used in the massage according to the chosen type of massage.
Competencies:The student will be able to use the acquired theoretical and practical knowledge in professional activities.
