Assessment
Unaided Work:
Independent work of students is organized on individual basis and /ori n working groups by assigning the following tasks: to prepare independly for seminars and presentations.
Assessment Criteria:
Compulsory attendance of lectures and seminars Intermediate assessment: 1.Two successfully completed tests (control test) on the topics of lectures and seminars 15%x2 2.An oral presentation at the end of the course about the influence of any of the nutritional components on the immune system function 30%. Final assessment: 3.Exam (written) - 40%.

Knowledge:Understands the importance of immunity in the pathogenesis of diseases and the effects of nutrition in the complex treatment regimen
Skills:1) Capable to orienting in the components of the immune system and their interaction with food; 2) Assess the immune response capacity of each individual, the use of dietary components in a common treatment regimen
Competencies:Develop a personalised dietary plan in specific cases of immunodeficiency
