Assessment
Unaided Work:
Individual acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in compliance with the topics of each class; independent study of the given literature. Please fill in the course evaluation form at the end of the course.
Assessment Criteria:
During the practical classes, the teacher observes and evaluates the student's communication skills and attitude towards patients, teachers, group members and other medical staff. Each lesson is preceded by a short discussion on the topic. The teacher asks questions about the theory, expecting oral answers. Active participation in practical classes: examination of patients, observation and assistance of surgical operations. The clinical work performed by the student in the practical classes must be regularly reflected in the "Student's diary in oral and maxillofacial surgery", and a signature must be received from the teacher in time. Students demonstrate their knowledge about biomaterials in seminar. At the end of course formative evaluation takes place : 1. Communication skills and attitude towards patients, teachers, group members and other medical staff; 2. X-ray image recognition and analysis; 3. Prescribing medication (specific medicinal product, dosage, method of administration); 4. Evaluation of the clinical work performed during the semester, which is reflected in the "Student's diary in oral and maxillofacial surgery", discussion about clinical cases; 5. Evaluation in seminar about biomaterials.
