Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Introduction to the Theory of Law.
Objective:
The objective of the course is to introduce to students the socio-economic, political and legal aspects of the international economic and business environment. The course is based on an analysis of of globalisation, legal issues in the international environment and The Green Deal policy. The course will focused on insights of world socio-economic and legal trends as well as involvement of different players in global decision-making relevant to green economic, legal and business trends. Special attention will be given to students' presentations and discussions.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Literature review on lecture topics, summary writing, report preparation. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria:
The final grade is constituted by the sum of all grades (attendance of classes, participation in seminars, practical work and exam). Knowledge will be assessed using 10-point grading system. Course paper - 30%, summaries - 20%, active participation and tests in seminars - 20%, exam - 30%

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:After successful completion of the study course, students will gain insight into the specifics and regularities of the global business environment in the context of entrepreneurship.
Skills:Ability to analyse and study the political and legal environment of global business, to draw conclusions. To understand the specifics of national policy and their impact on entrepreneurship, both locally and globally.
Competencies:Ability to analyse the principles and specifics of national policy making; ability to describe specifics of the legal environment.
