Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
Secondary school economics knowledge. Economics and Business Studies 1st year.
Objective:
Basic knowledge of managing small and medium-sized enterprises and institutions. Basic knowledge of setting goals, planning, including management, control and motivation. To gain knowledge of the principles of Management conduct.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Active participation in lectures, preparation of independent works. Regular evaluation of acquired knowledge and skills during classes (presentations, reports). Fill the course evaluation questionnaire.
Assessment Criteria:
Written exam with 25 theoretical questions at the end of the course. Create and present a business plan. Evaluation – cumulative, according to the RSU regulations: • 50% final work, • 50% attendance of classes, discussions in classes on the selected topics, independent work in classes, at home, as well as presentation of a business idea.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Students will know the basic issues of economics and business. Business types, main taxes, accounting and management basics.
Skills:Students will be able to evaluate the possibility of creating a new company and assess their readiness for entrepreneurship. The tools of goal setting and priority thinking are used in the mind. Ability to evaluate the main positions of the company's PZA and their interrelationships.
Competencies:Students will be aware of the differences between the status of an employee and a provider in the industry, will learn to clearly formulate an opinion on the existing/latest regulatory enactments and their impact and business
