From 3–10 October, Rīga will be hosting the i-Days healthcare innovation hackathon, where students from universities across Latvia will be challenged to develop solutions to pressing issues in healthcare. Participants are invited to join in teams of 3–4 or register individually, regardless of their study year or field. The goal is to generate ideas that could transform healthcare – from promoting preventive medicine to supporting early disease detection and lifestyle changes.

China Studies Centre intern

This summer the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) China Studies Centre has the privilege of hosting a number of interns from a myriad of universities. Amina Lučkova is one of them and we are glad to have her on the team over the summer months before she goes back to her studies at the University of Amsterdam. Here is a short interview with Amina, to get to know her and find out why she decided to intern at RSU.
